Out of pocket fees

I do not accept insurance and I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I can provide you with the paperwork needed for your insurance company if you seek out-of-network reimbursement.

PSYCHOTHERAPY
$350 per 1-hour session

COGNITIVE REMEDIATION
$375+ per 1-hour session

 

Out-of-network Benefits

If you are interested in working with a provider who doesn’t accept insurance, this is considered an out-of-network provider. Sometimes, your insurance company will agree to provide reimbursement for all or a portion of the fee as long as you submit a claim, and you might have to meet a deductible first.

Out-of-network providers do not bill insurance companies. However, they can provide a bill and receipt of payment that contain all the information you need to file an out-of-network claim with your insurance company for reimbursement.

If you are not sure if your insurance provider will cover your sessions, please call them before your first appointment. You can check your coverage and reimbursement benefits by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have "out-of-network" outpatient mental health benefits?

  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the covered amount per therapy session?

  • Is a referral required from my primary care physician?

Payment policy

As a client, you are responsible for all costs, charges, and expenses for services provided. Cash, checks, Venmo, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment is due at the time of your session unless a payment plan has been arranged in advance.

Cancellation policy

24-hour advance notice is required for all cancellations. If the 24-hour period is not respected or you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
